Antique wooden snuff box from the 18th – 19th century. The top is delicately carved, depicting a monk in a graveyard near a church, kneeling in front of a Crucifix and a skull. The underside has a nice inlay, made of different kinds of wood. Ornate carving of the exterior part of the box. Diameter: 3,8 inches, height: 1,2 inches. Very fine condition. The box is probably of English origin.
