China: Antique Jade with Monkey and Lotus Leaf.China: Antique Jade, brown at the outer part, white at the centre. The colors have been used very well, making the brown a lotus leaf and the white a monkey with a peach. 20 x 36 x 15 mm. 13 gram.

2 very attractive, delicately carved wooden panels, later framed and fixed at the reverse side to make it one piece. Also the hanging is newer. The 2 panels are from the 18th ( may 19th ) century and attract by their high skilled craftsmanship. The depict 2 scenes with little children. Antique wooden snuff box from the 18th – 19th century. The top is delicately carved, depicting a monk in a graveyard near a church, kneeling in front of a Crucifix and a skull. The underside has a nice inlay, made of different kinds of wood. Ornate carving of the exterior part of the box. Diameter: 3,8 inches, height: 1,2 inches. Very fine condition. The box is probably of English origin.

Decorative baroque angel’s head and wings, carved wood, probably basswood or peach. It is a typical Baroque scrimshaw from the 18th century. Size: 2,2 x 3,2 x 2 inches, 45 gram, fine condition. The object comes from the famous Dr. Heihs collection and has the inventory number 512.
